Work Life

Wonder what my work life is like? Here you go...
Well... not exactly mine... because I am not that busy yet. I drew a couple of cartoons for my coworkers, hoping to cheer them up when they were really busy.

For the physical chemist...
I feel extremely bad when I have a million samples for them to analyze.0

For my officemate... Actually, many engineers in my department work extra hours when it comes to piloting (making drugs in the real reaction tanks instead lab scale flasks). It'll be my life sooner or later.

Greeting from Europe

My friend, who's travelling in Europe right now, has just sent me some postcards. I get so excited about these messages from far away because they remind me of how much I enjoy traveling. But prior to his departure, I built my happiness upon making him feel miserable. I know I was evil, but it was only because I was so jealous of him.

Cynicism

Damn, I hate commercial holidays. It's making a big deal out of nothing. It's not like you don't love your valentine and your parents for the other 364 days of the year! Bull shit!

If statues could talk...

"I Will Be Back"

Haha...yeah... our CA governor Schwarzenegger used "I will be back" in the Terminator series quite a bit. I am quoting it, 'cuz I am coming back to SF on July 4th weekend.

I somehow still think I am partly Californian. That's so sad....I can't move on from CA yet.

Well, I am back from July 4th to July 8th.
See you then!

For my Berkeley ChemE folks...

I Am Evil!

My friend, Peter, just headed off to a European backpacking trip. He is doing more of the Eastern Europe trail. Since I was only in the Mediterranean region for my trip, I wanted some souvenirs from other places. In fact, I just wanted some of those wooden shoes from Amsterdam (at least that's what I thought they were famous for).

But, what the hell, Amsterdam is also famous for their weed. Ultimate Sin City!
*disclaimer: I am NOT a pot head!
I can see you laughing, Jae and Melisa!

Give Me Some Inches in Height

Geez... I am too short for research! Back in college, my research group grad students always made fun of me for being the shortest in the group. I'd ask them to give me a hand whenever it came to the top shelf.

Now, it's like that all over again...
